Our Manifesto
Why we built ULA, and why it matters now more than ever.
The Privacy Crisis
Most period tracking apps are not tools for wellness, they are tools for data harvesting. In an age of digital communication and ever-increasing data surveillance, your most sensitive health information has been sold to the highest bidder.
We saw the failures of similar apps, instances where health data was used not to help, but to aid in the prosecution of users. We consider this unacceptable.
The ULA Alternative
ULA was born out of a simple, non-negotiable principle: Your body, your data, your device.
We opted for a 100% on-device data management model. ULA does not communicate with any server or external API. No one but the user has access to their data, not even us.
Built for Sovereignty
Privacy isn't just a feature, it's the infrastructure. By utilizing local JSON storage and schema wrappers, we ensure that your history stays in your hand. Whether it's on your original device or exported for backup, the data belongs to the owner, accessible only through the app infrastructure.
